The aim of this project was to explore the possibilities of 3D scanning human heads for custom helmet manfacture.

 

Two heads were scanned using Autodesks 123D Catch, these were then modified using Meshmixer and a motorcycle helmet was designed using Siemens NX 8.5.

 

The reviewed using Cura, these were then printed using an Ultimaker 2 in order to test the prototypes.
